The goal of this workshop is to help participants think quickly on their feet in stressful and pressure situations.
Rarely does everything go as planned, we can count on unknowns in every business situation. It’s how we react, overcome and recover during execution, in real time, that can make our strategy a success.
Improvisation is the process utilized in real life pressure filled situations by Emergency Room Doctors, EMS workers, Firefighters, Athletes, and other professions that demand real time performance in adverse conditions. Improvisation is taught in the Arts as a method to deliver creativity in real time conditions. In the business world we are asked to think on our feet, under pressure in many situations; presentations, sales meetings, strategy sessions, public speaking, or any situation that does not go as planned. The quality of our execution when we face adversity determines our success.
This workshop will explore and explain the processes involved in improvisation in real business situations. It will also engage the participants in exercises and discussions that reveal their unique reactions under pressure and how to leverage improvisation as a skill in real time - real life.
Having a strategy to deal with the unforeseeable is good business, good leadership and the key to success in a world that changes faster everyday and delivers us new and unexpected challenges faster than we can plan for.
